Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7,5m groen U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7.5m Green U/FTP networking cable provides a shielded, high-performance wired connection for home and professional networks. Constructed to Cat7 specifications with U/FTP (unshielded pair with foil overall and individual pair shielding), the cable supports high data rates and reduces electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for straightforward installation into routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet devices. The 7.5 meter length offers flexibility in device placement while the green jacket helps visually differentiate runs within a patching environment.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over longer runs and in electrically noisy environments. Cat7 specification enables support for multi-gigabit speeds and greater bandwidth headroom compared with older categories. The molded RJ-45 connectors ensure a secure, stable plug-in connection and help protect the internal conductors from wear. The colored outer jacket provides easy identification and routing in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections for gaming and 4K/8K streaming
• Office and home network backbones connecting routers, switches and NAS devices
• Professional environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required
• Patch panels and structured cabling where cable identification is helpful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, molded strain relief
• Data rate support: up to 10 Gbps (depending on network equipment)
• Color: green outer jacket
• Conductor type: twisted pairs, typically stranded or solid copper depending on cable variant

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network source such as a router or switch and the other end to the target device such as a PC, console or network-attached storage. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to maintain signal integrity. For wall or patch panel installations, verify the connector type matches the port and that strain relief is positioned to reduce pull on the terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable in conjunction with compatible Cat7-capable network devices and switches. Keep cable runs away from high-power electrical sources and large motors to reduce potential interference. In structured cabling, label both ends and leave a small service loop to facilitate future re-termination or moves.
