Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S groen 30m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Green 30m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is engineered for high-speed wired network connections over a longer run. Designed to support bandwidths beyond typical Cat5e and Cat6 standards, this 30-metre cable features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce contact corrosion. The bright green jacket makes cable identification and routing simpler in multi-cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, improving stability for data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and lower contact resistance. The 30m length provides extended reach without intermediate patch points, and the colored outer jacket assists with easy visual management in racks or workspaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in offices and homes
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels across longer distances
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference (near power equipment or dense cabling)
• Cable runs that benefit from clear visual identification and colour coding

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 30 metres
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring minimal bending and avoiding tight loops; maintain bend radius recommendations typical for twisted-pair cables. Plug RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards until connectors click into place. For installations in electrically noisy environments, verify proper grounding of network equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage lines for long distances.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable with compatible network hardware capable of higher frequencies; avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress during installation. When deploying multiple runs, use the green colour for consistent identification and document cable endpoints for easier maintenance.
