Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S oranje 30 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Orange 30 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission over a 30-metre run. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, this Cat7 cable supports advanced shielding and contact quality to maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The bright orange jacket provides visual distinction for easy identification in structured cabling or mixed-cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and external interference, improving stability for demanding network traffic. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance connectivity and reduce contact resistance, supporting consistent throughput. The 30 m length covers typical room-to-room and equipment-to-equipment runs without the need for extensions, while the durable outer jacket offers mechanical protection and easy handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections in homes and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels across medium-length runs
• High-bandwidth tasks such as video streaming, online gaming and file transfers
• Environments where cable identification and organization are important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 Ethernet cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 30 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: orange

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to preserve performance. Plug RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as routers, switches, network cards or patch panels. Ensure proper strain relief at mounting points and keep the cable separated from sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible. For in-wall installations, verify local building regulations and use the appropriate installation methods and conduit where required.

Recommendations

For best results, pair this Cat7 S/FTP cable with equipment that supports Gigabit Ethernet or higher and maintain recommended bend radius during installation. Label both ends for quick identification in patch bays or multi-cable runs.
