Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S rood 10 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Red 10 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission. With Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding, this 10-metre cable supports advanced networking needs while reducing external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and help minimise signal loss, and the visible red jacket simplifies cable identification in multi-cable environments.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat7 design and foil-braided S/FTP shielding deliver improved crosstalk protection and enhanced immunity to external noise compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated contacts increase contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The 10 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical home or small-office layouts, while the durable outer sheath offers mechanical protection and easy handling during installation.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections for PCs, gaming consoles and smart TVs
• Wired connections in home offices and small business networks
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and stable throughput
• Temporary or permanent patching between wall outlets, switches and routers

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor: multi-stranded copper (for flexibility)
• Jacket colour: red
• Supported frequencies and bandwidth suitable for gigabit and higher networking applications

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device (for example a router, switch or computer) and the other end to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to provide correct electrical contact. Route the cable away from heavy power lines and equipment that may produce strong electromagnetic fields to preserve signal quality. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling forces during installation to prevent damage to the internal conductors and shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in combination with compatible shielded network equipment and properly grounded outlets. For permanent installations, verify routing and secure cable with appropriate clips or cable management to avoid mechanical stress; for temporary setups, label both ends to simplify identification.
