Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-22045 zwart 3m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-22045 Black 3m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable provides a straightforward, standards-compliant connection for wired Ethernet networks. Designed to meet Cat6 specifications, this 3-metre cable uses an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable signal transmission and corrosion-resistant contacts. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suitable for connecting computers, switches, routers and other networked devices where a reliable gigabit connection is required.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6 specification and U/UTP design deliver reliable performance for gigabit Ethernet in home and office environments while keeping cable diameter and flexibility suitable for typical installation routes. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and reduce oxidation over time, contributing to long-term signal stability. The 3 metre length provides a balance between reach and neat cable management without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and workstations to switches or routers
• Wiring networked peripheral devices such as printers, NAS and IP cameras
• Temporary or permanent cabling in small office or home office (SOHO) setups
• Patch panel and patch bay connections within rack or cabinet installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (Category 6), supports up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Length: 3 metres
• Conductor configuration: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference, and secure it with cable ties or clips as needed. No special configuration is required beyond standard network setup on connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to power cables or large electrical equipment. When using longer cable runs within structured cabling, verify link performance with appropriate network testing tools and ensure that connected devices support gigabit speeds to achieve the maximum 1000 Mbit/s throughput.
