Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-26755 zwart 75m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-26755 Black 75m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. This cable supports Cat6a performance with S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts for stable signal transmission. The 75-meter length and black jacket provide a balance of reach and unobtrusive appearance for structured cabling runs, patching, or device connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individual foil shielding around each pair to improve resistance to external interference and minimize pair-to-pair crosstalk, which helps maintain reliable high-speed data transfer over longer runs. The Cat6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at distances up to the standard channel length when installed correctly, and the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance corrosion resistance and ensure consistent conductivity. The cable's flexible jacket and professional terminations simplify installation and routing in racks, ceilings, or along skirting.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks, including high-bandwidth applications
• Structured cabling in offices, data closets, and server rooms
• Home networks that require stable wired connections for streaming and gaming
• Patch panels, switches, routers, and networked workstations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductor type: multi-core copper conductors (twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 75 meters
• Outer jacket color: black
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 500 MHz (Cat6a typical performance)

How to use

Run the cable along the planned route, avoiding close parallel runs with high-voltage power lines and sharp bends that exceed the manufacturer's recommended bend radius. Terminate the cable using the RJ-45 connectors provided or install into patch panels and keystone jacks compatible with Cat6a cables. Ensure proper grounding for shielded systems where required by the installation environment, and test each link with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair assignment, and performance before putting the connection into production.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain correct installation practices for shielded Cat6a cabling: use compatible shielded connectors and patch panels, keep cable lengths within supported channel limits, and test for alien crosstalk and return loss in high-density installations. Store and handle the cable to avoid kinks and excessive tension during deployment.
