Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-27040 grijs 3 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-27040 is a 3 m grey networking cable built to support high-speed wired connections. Compliant with Cat6a and using S/FTP (S-STP) shielding, it reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains stable data transmission up to 10 000 Mbit/s. Both ends feature gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors for reliable contact and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

Cat6a specification combined with S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference. The 3 m length offers flexibility for typical home and office setups. Gold‑plated contacts enhance long‑term conductivity and connection stability. The grey jacket gives a neutral appearance that fits many installation environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktops and laptops
• Connecting routers, switches and network equipment
• High‑bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Office and home network installations where reduced interference is required

Key specifications

• Model: ShiverPeaks BS08-27040
• Length: 3 m
• Cable standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 — RJ‑45
• Connector contacts plating: Gold
• Data transfer rate: 10 000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to your network device (PC, switch, router) and the other end to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in structured cabling with compatible equipment and avoid stretching or tightly bending the cable. If running alongside power lines, maintain separation to minimise potential interference.
