Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35000 0,25 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35000 0.25m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and a Cat7-rated twisted pair construction with U/UTP shielding. The grey cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for short link applications where signal integrity and compact cabling are required.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable offers enhanced performance for short-distance connections through improved pair geometry and individual pair shielding to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent throughput. The compact 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and is convenient for patch panels, switch-to-switch links in rack environments, or connections behind equipment where excess cable would otherwise accumulate.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network equipment (switches, routers, modems)
• Connections inside server racks and network cabinets
• High-speed Ethernet links requiring Cat7 performance
• Situations where minimal cable slack is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded, twisted pairs with screened pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the network switch or router. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Use the cable for short-distance patching; avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force to maintain performance. For rack installations, secure the cable to avoid strain on the connectors and maintain orderly cable management.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat7 cable for direct device-to-device links where high throughput and minimal cable length are required. Avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and do not subject it to repeated flexing or crushing to preserve signal integrity and connector life.
