Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35015 zwart 0,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35015 Black 0.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a short-length, high-performance connection for network devices. Designed to support data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s, the cable uses Cat7 specification wiring with U/UTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and resistance to corrosion while the compact 0.5 m length keeps patching tidy in racks, switches, or desktop setups.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable offers high data throughput suitable for demanding network transfers and low-latency applications. The U/UTP shielding provides improved protection against interference without adding bulk, and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance long-term reliability. The 0.5 m length minimizes cable clutter and is practical for short patch connections between adjacent ports.

Suitable for

• Short patching between switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms or network cabinets
• Direct connections between desktop devices and nearby network ports
• High-speed data transfers, Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links
• Environments where reduced interference and reliable contact are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall foil with unshielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Color: black

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, network cards or patch panels. Ensure connectors are inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it clear of strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 0.5 m length for short-distance patching to maintain a neat cable layout.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, high-speed links within racks or workstations. If longer runs are needed, select an appropriately rated Cat cable of greater length to maintain performance. Inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if any physical damage or intermittent contact is observed.
