Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35040 3m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35040 3m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. This grey Cat7 cable uses U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and support data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. With a 3 meter length, it provides flexibility for connecting routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices while keeping a tidy installation.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 category and U/UTP construction provide improved performance for high-bandwidth applications compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and corrosion, supporting stable transmissions and fewer errors over time. The 3 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management for typical desk-to-wall or rack-to-device connections. The neutral grey jacket fits unobtrusively into most environments.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PC, laptop or server and a router or switch
• High-speed internet access and gigabit/multi-gigabit local networks
• Home offices, small business networks and multimedia streaming setups
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 3 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shielded, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: Up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port on your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port of your computer, server or network device. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for the appropriate network speeds. Arrange the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; secure with cable ties or clips if necessary to maintain a neat installation and minimize strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat7 U/UTP cable in environments that benefit from higher bandwidth and lower interference. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. Verify device port capabilities to take full advantage of the supported data rates.
