Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35050 5m Cat7 U/UTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35050 5m Cat7 U/UTP Grey is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to provide stable signal transmission and improved contact durability. The cable's U/UTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for routing in home and office environments. The neutral grey jacket offers a discreet appearance that integrates easily into different setups.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable delivers increased bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier Ethernet categories, enabling higher throughput for demanding network tasks. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help ensure consistent low-resistance connections and resist corrosion over time. The U/UTP construction provides effective shielding against external noise sources while keeping the cable manageable in bends and conduits. The 5-meter length balances reach and signal integrity for typical workstation-to-switch connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, workstations, and servers to switches or routers in home and office networks
• High-speed data transfer tasks such as file sharing, backups, and local network storage access
• Streaming high-resolution media, video conferencing, and low-latency online gaming
• Structured cabling segments where shielding against EMI is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 Ethernet cable
• Length: 5 meters
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall foil shield, individual pairs unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Color: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Connect the opposite end to a switch, router, or wall outlet panel as required. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it separated from high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference. If routing through cable trays or conduits, maintain gentle curves and do not exceed recommended pull tensions for network cabling.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 cable for point-to-point connections between network equipment where higher bandwidth and improved shielding are beneficial. For installations near heavy electrical equipment or fluorescent lighting, ensure proper cable separation and grounding practices in accordance with local cabling standards to maximize signal stability.
