Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35060 7,5m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35060 7.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for high-speed data transmission up to 10,000 Mbit/s. This grey cable uses Cat7 class wiring and U/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference while maintaining signal integrity across the full 7.5 metre length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use in home or office network environments.

Advantages

The cable supports high bandwidth and low-latency transmission suitable for demanding network tasks. U/UTP shielding offers protection from external noise sources while the Cat7 wiring supports improved pair performance compared with lower category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors help maintain reliable contact and resist oxidation over time. The 7.5 metre length provides flexibility for positioning network equipment without compromising signal quality.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and workstations to routers or switches
• Wired connections for NAS devices and networked storage
• High-definition media streaming and video conferencing
• Small office or home office network setups
• Temporary or permanent cable runs between network equipment within a room

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with foil around pairs as specified by U/UTP construction)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: grey

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, NAS or other network device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For best performance keep the cable clear of strong sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid tight bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductors.

Recommendations

For stable high-speed connections, use the cable for direct device-to-device wiring in indoor environments and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power lines. If running through cable ducts or across longer building runs, verify that Cat7 U/UTP meets the installation requirements and environmental conditions of your infrastructure.
