Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35066 7,5m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35066 7.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for modern Ethernet setups. Designed for data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s, this white cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and U/UTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. At 7.5 metres length, it suits installations that require reliable throughput between devices in home, office, or small server environments.

Advantages

U/UTP construction offers an effective balance between shielding performance and flexible cable handling, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with moderate electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and minimize oxidation over time. The Cat7 specification supports high-bandwidth applications and future-proofing for networks migrating to faster Ethernet standards. The 7.5 m length allows for tidy routing without excessive slack.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pair with outer shielding)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: Up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, PC or NAS) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or heavy-duty motors. If you need to shorten cable runs, use appropriate cable management tools to maintain bend radius and avoid damaging the shielding or conductors.

For optimal performance, test the installed link with a network tester that can verify Cat7 or higher performance parameters. Avoid running the cable in parallel with power lines for long distances; where crossing is necessary, do so at right angles. Periodically inspect connector ends for debris or damage and replace the cable if physical wear compromises connection stability.
