Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35080 15m Cat7 U/UTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35080 15m Cat7 U/UTP Grey networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for environments that require reliable, high-speed data transfer. Constructed to Cat7 specifications with U/UTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this 15-metre cable is designed to support data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s while minimizing electromagnetic interference. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home, office, or data center installations.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable combines consistent signal quality with robust physical construction. The U/UTP shielding reduces external interference without adding the bulk of fully screened designs, and the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion over time. The 15 m length provides flexibility for routing between devices while maintaining full gigabit and multi-gigabit performance suitable for modern networks.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches, and networked devices in home and small office networks
• High-bandwidth tasks such as video streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers
• Temporary or semi-permanent links in server rooms and network closets where Cat7 performance is desired

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 U/UTP
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Color: Grey

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port on your network device (router, switch, modem or computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal quality and reduce the risk of physical damage.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat7 cable for fixed wired installations where high throughput and reduced interference are important. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to heavy power lines or large electrical equipment; if proximity to noise sources is unavoidable, consider additional routing or separation to maintain optimal performance.
