Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35100 25m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35100 25m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is engineered for high-performance wired connections in home and small office networks. This 25-metre grey Cat7 cable uses U/UTP (unshielded pair with overall foil) construction and comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding applications such as high-speed internet access, large file transfers, and low-latency streaming over a reliable physical link.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat7 specification and U/UTP design provide improved signal integrity and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, helping to maintain high throughput across longer distances. The factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent connection quality and simplify installation. Its 25 m length covers larger rooms or inter-room links without the need for additional patching, and the neutral grey jacket integrates unobtrusively into most environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps in residential and small business networks
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices, and desktop workstations
• Streaming high-definition video and online gaming with low latency
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs in home offices, server closets, or media cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 25 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: grey

How to use

Route the cable between the two networked devices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the device’s Ethernet port until it clicks. For optimal performance, keep the cable run within recommended installation practices and avoid running parallel to mains power cables over long distances. If longer overall runs are required, place network switches or patch panels to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility with 10 Gbps Ethernet where required; for basic 1 Gbps connections the cable operates without additional configuration. Inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage before installation and avoid excessive bending radius to preserve performance. For permanent in-wall installation, follow local building codes and use cables rated specifically for in-wall use.
