Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35105 zwart 25 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35105 Black 25 m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable delivers a long, single-segment Ethernet connection for wired networks that require high throughput and low interference. Constructed to Cat7 specifications with U/UTP shielding, this 25-metre cable provides a reliable physical layer for desktop systems, network switches, routers and media devices. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and resist contact corrosion while supporting data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable offers improved insulation and shielding characteristics compared with lower-category cables, reducing crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and long-term durability. At 25 metres length and a neutral black jacket, the cable is suitable for many installation scenarios where a longer reach without intermediate devices is required. The construction supports high-speed applications while maintaining compatibility with standard Ethernet hardware.

Suitable for

• Wired desktop connections to switches and routers
• Home and office network backbone segments requiring long cable runs
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers and streaming
• Connecting media devices, NAS units and networked printers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded foil or unshielded twisted pairs with overall and/or pair-level considerations)
• Length: 25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable from your network device to the target port without tight bends or sharp kinks to preserve signal quality. Insert the RJ-45 plugs fully into compatible Ethernet ports on switches, routers or network interface cards until they click into place. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Test the link speed after installation using network diagnostics or the device status indicators.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessively long daisy chains of patch cables and use this 25 m cable where a single straight run is needed. Maintain bend radius and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use compatible network equipment that supports high-speed Ethernet to make full use of the cable's rated data transfer capacity.
