Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35480 grijs 30 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35480 Grey 30m Cat7 U/UTP cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable wired network connections. Designed to support data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, this 30-metre cable provides extended reach for connecting devices across rooms or between network equipment in home and office environments. The cable uses Cat7 construction with U/UTP shielding and gold‑plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce contact resistance.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable offers high bandwidth capacity and improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives, making it suitable for dense cable environments. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure a consistent low-resistance connection and resist corrosion over time. The 30 m length provides flexibility in network layout without the need for additional patch panels or extensions, and the neutral grey jacket integrates unobtrusively into most interiors.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired LAN connections in homes and small offices
• Linking switches, routers, NAS devices and desktop computers
• Gaming setups and streaming devices requiring stable low-latency links
• Temporary or semi-permanent cabling where 30 m reach is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 30 m
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall unshielded pair with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Route the ShiverPeaks Cat7 cable between the two network endpoints avoiding sharp bends and tight loops to preserve cable performance. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports on switches, routers, modems or network cards until a click confirms engagement. For wall or floor routing, allow slack at both ends to reduce tension on connectors. Verify link status on connected devices and test throughput using network diagnostic tools if needed.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large inductive loads to minimize interference. When installing in structured cabling systems, adhere to bend radius guidelines and avoid excessive kinking. If deployed in permanent installations, consider labeling both ends to simplify future maintenance.
