Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-39075 RJ-45 Cat7 10 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-39075 RJ-45 Cat7 10 m Black is a high-quality network cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. Built to the Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding, this 10-metre cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain stable data transmission rates. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent conductivity and improved resistance to corrosion, while the black jacket offers a neutral, hard-wearing appearance suitable for visible installations and cable management.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding structure provides robust protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting higher bandwidths and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and longevity. The 10 m length gives flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between networking equipment without relying on intermediate switches or extenders. The cable’s construction aligns with Cat7 performance expectations for professional and consumer applications that require stable wired connectivity.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and patch panels in home networks
• Wiring desktop PCs, gaming consoles and smart TVs for stable internet access
• Office workstations and meeting rooms requiring reliable wired connections
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 10 m reach is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – both ends
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network source (router, switch or wall outlet) and the other to your device’s Ethernet port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or mains power bundles. For wall or under-desk routing, use appropriate clips or cable ties and avoid excessive stretching.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid repeated flexing near the connector ends and maintain bend radii larger than the cable diameter. Use the ShiverPeaks Cat7 cable for applications that benefit from shielded cabling such as high-speed file transfers, streaming and latency-sensitive online services. If routing near power lines, keep a separation distance to reduce potential interference.
