Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41004-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP 0,25 m rood

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41004-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable with a length of 0.25 m designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. It complies with the Cat8.1 specification and uses foil over each pair plus an overall foil (F/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion risk.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 F/FTP cable provides high bandwidth and low latency for short-distance links, delivering stable signal quality due to its shielding design. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance electrical contact and durability while the compact 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal attenuation in close-proximity setups. The red jacket allows for easy visual identification within cabling infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network equipment in racks or desktop setups
• High-speed links requiring Cat8.1 performance and shielding against EMI
• Environments where color-coded cabling simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall + foil around each pair)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Red

How to use

Use the cable to connect compatible networking devices such as switches, routers, patch panels, or network interface cards over short distances. Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into each device port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For highest performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting; maintain the cable’s minimum bend radius and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this 0.25 m Cat8.1 cable for short, high-speed connections in rack-mounted or desktop environments. Verify device compatibility with Cat8.1 parameters and ensure connectors are clean before installation. Use color-coding to manage and document cabling runs.
