Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41021-2 Cat8.1 1m F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41021-2 Cat8.1 1m F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in compact installations. This 1-meter cable conforms to the Cat8.1 standard and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. It is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to ensure reliable contact and consistent signal integrity for short-range, high-bandwidth links in home and office networks.

Advantages

The cable's Cat8.1 specification supports very high data rates and low latency suitable for modern networking equipment. F/FTP shielding provides overall foil protection with individually foil-wrapped pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve corrosion resistance and contact quality, helping to maintain stable connections over time. The 1 m length offers a tidy solution for connecting devices in close proximity without excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches, routers, and servers in small racks or desktop setups
• High-bandwidth transfers between NAS, workstations, and media servers
• Short-range links in home offices, studios, and IT closets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil-screened pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Intended use: Ethernet high-speed data connections

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your networking equipment until the latch clicks into place. Use the 1 m cable to create direct connections between devices located near each other, such as switch-to-server or router-to-desktop links. Ensure both endpoints support the higher performance levels you require; for maximum Cat8.1 performance, connect compatible network interfaces and configure device settings as needed. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling on the cable during installation to preserve shielding and connector integrity.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible and avoid running it alongside unshielded power cables. For installations requiring longer runs or wall routing, select an appropriately rated cable length and maintain proper bend radius to ensure consistent high-speed performance.
