Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41022-2 Cat8.1 1m F/FTP geel

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41022-2 Cat8.1 1m F/FTP Yellow networking cable is designed for high-frequency Ethernet connections where maximum throughput and low interference are required. This 1 metre cable conforms to the Cat8.1 standard and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk disturbances. It is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to maintain reliable contact and stable signal transmission in home or office network environments.

Advantages

High bandwidth capacity and Cat8.1 compliance support fast data transfer rates suitable for demanding applications. F/FTP shielding provides effective protection against external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact resistance and corrosion resistance. The compact 1 metre length reduces excess cable clutter while maintaining flexibility for routing in tight spaces. The cable's yellow jacket offers easy visual identification among multiple runs.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers and servers in small offices and home networks
• Connections where minimized electromagnetic interference is important, such as near power equipment or dense cabling
• Short patching runs in server racks, wall outlets or desk setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to confirm a secure connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or compressing the cable under heavy objects. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP patch cable for short, high-performance links where shielding and low latency are required. Replace cables that show physical damage or intermittent connectivity. For longer runs or different installation environments, evaluate appropriate cable category and shielding to match distance and interference conditions.
