Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41022 geel 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41022 Yellow 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for demanding local network and data center environments. With Cat8.1 specification and F/FTP shielding, the cable supports very high data transfer rates and minimizes electromagnetic interference. The 1 meter length and bright yellow jacket make it convenient for short interconnections and easy cable identification in crowded racks and workstations.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable offers up to 40000 Mbit/s throughput and is built with F/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external noise. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The compact 1 m length reduces excess slack for tidy installations, while the yellow outer sheath enhances visibility and simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Short-range connections between switches, patch panels and servers in racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as 25G/40G Ethernet and low-latency networking
• Home labs and professional workstations where visible cable identification is useful
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to limit electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall with individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Color: yellow

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs at each end to the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices, ensuring secure seating of the connector latches. Use the cable for point-to-point patching between switches, servers or patch panels where a 1 m run is appropriate. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and maintain the cable within its recommended bend radius to preserve performance. For installations in areas with potential interference, confirm proper grounding and pairing with shielded infrastructure where applicable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded installations and pair it with compatible shielded ports and connectors. Keep runs as short as needed for tidy layouts and inspect connectors before deployment to ensure clean, damage-free contacts.
