Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41024-2 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP rood

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41024-2 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP Red networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office networks. This Cat8.1 cable uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short runs, and it is terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 1 meter length and red jacket make it suitable for visible patching and short-distance links between switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.

Advantages

The cable supports Cat8.1 performance for high bandwidth and low latency, with F/FTP shielding that combines an overall foil with individually foil‑shielded twisted pairs to limit crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer improved contact reliability and stable data transfer. The compact 1 m length minimizes excess cable clutter in patching environments while the colored outer jacket simplifies cable identification in densely cabled setups.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches and patch panels in data cabinets or office racks
• High-bandwidth links for streaming, gaming, and professional data transfer over local networks
• Connections between network devices where shielded cabling is required to reduce interference
• Visible patch cable runs where color-coded identification is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 meter
• Color: Red

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on your network device until the latch clicks. Use the cable for direct patching between network equipment such as switches, routers, modems or patch panels. Avoid tight bends near the connector and do not apply excessive pulling force. For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended maximum lengths for copper Ethernet and maintain proper cable routing away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-speed links in shielded or low-noise environments. When deploying in racks or cabinets, pair with appropriately rated patch panels and maintain bend radius recommendations to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
