Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41026-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1m

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41026-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1m networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in professional and home environments. Compliant with Cat8.1 standards, this 1 metre cable provides high bandwidth and low latency for applications that require reliable data transmission. The cable uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable delivers higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for demanding network tasks. The F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance connectivity reliability and durability. The 1 m length offers a compact solution for short runs between devices, patch panels, and network switches.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links between switches, routers and servers
• Short-distance connections in data centres and server rooms
• Home offices and professional workstations requiring stable wired networking
• Audio/video distribution and streaming setups that need low-latency connections

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Application: High-frequency, high-data-rate wired networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (such as a switch, router or network interface on a server) and the other end to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain recommended bend radius for shielded Ethernet cables. If using in a rack or cable-managed environment, route the cable alongside other shielded runs and attach grounding where required by local installation standards.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where reduced interference and reliable contact are important. Do not exceed the cable's recommended bend radius, and follow grounding and installation practices for shielded cables to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.
