Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41033 groen 2 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41033 Green 2 m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable provides a short, high-performance connection for network devices. Designed to the Cat8.1 standard with F/FTP shielding, this 2-metre cable supports high data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The bright green jacket makes the cable easy to identify within installations and adds a visual accent to desktop or rack environments.

Advantages

Cat8.1 specification ensures support for very high bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, while F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus an overall foil) offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable connectivity and resistance to oxidation, and the 2 m length offers flexibility for short runs between switches, patch panels and devices. The cable jacket is designed for easy handling and visible color-coding simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, routers and patch panels within server rooms or network closets
• High-speed desktop connections for workstations requiring low-latency data transfer
• Home or small office setups where a visible color-coded cable simplifies organization
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil around each pair plus overall foil)
• Length: 2 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Color: green

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports of devices such as switches, routers, network interface cards or patch panels until they click into place. Ensure ports are compatible with Cat8.1 and that connectors are fully seated to achieve the rated data throughput. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or kinks and keep it clear of high-power electrical cables to maintain shielding effectiveness. For patch panel installations, verify that panels and ports are properly grounded when using shielded cables.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where shielding and minimal latency are required; confirm device port compatibility and grounding for optimal performance.
