Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41040 grijs 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41040 Grey 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable delivers a high-performance, shielded connection designed for demanding wired networks. Built to Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding and reliable RJ-45 connectors, this 3‑meter cable supports very high data rates and low-latency transmission for servers, switches, routers and high-speed workstations. The grey jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance suitable for visible runs in office or data center environments.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 F/FTP cable offers enhanced electromagnetic interference protection through its foil-shielded pairs and an overall braid/foil combination, reducing crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable signal contact and corrosion resistance for consistent throughput. The 3 m length balances reach and cable management convenience for many rack-to-desk or rack-to-switch connections. The cable is rated for very high bandwidth, supporting modern networking needs where low latency and high data transfer rates are required.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers and servers
• Server racks and data center uplinks requiring shielded cabling
• Workstations used for large file transfers, video editing or virtualization
• Home or office environments where reduced interference and stable connections are needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foiled pairs with overall foil/braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Grey
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Designed for low-latency, high-bandwidth Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your switch, router or server and the other end to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle bend radii to preserve shielding and internal pair geometry. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors and to keep shielded pairs intact.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ShiverPeaks Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded network environments and pair it with compatible shielded ports and grounding practices. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances and inspect connectors periodically for dust or corrosion to maintain reliable high-speed links.
