Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41043 groen 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41043 Green 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance networking cable engineered for demanding wired network environments. With Cat8.1 specification and F/FTP shielding, this 3-metre cable supports very high data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s while maintaining signal integrity in congested or electrically noisy installations. The cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reliable contact and reduced corrosion risk, and its green jacket provides easy visual identification within structured cabling setups.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus an overall braid) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to preserve throughput at high frequencies. The Cat8.1 standard enables multi-gigabit and potential 25/40 Gbit/s links where supported by network equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve conductivity and mechanical durability for repeated plug cycles. The 3 m length offers flexible placement between devices without excessive slack, and the coloured outer jacket assists cable management and quick identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch connections in data closets and rack environments
• Workstations and desktop PCs requiring multi-gigabit connectivity
• Network segments where electromagnetic interference may affect signal quality
• Home labs and small office networks seeking future-proof cabling for 25/40 Gbit/s supported hardware

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the ShiverPeaks BS08-41043 to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on a switch, router or network interface. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; maintain bend radii recommended for high-frequency copper cabling to preserve performance. When connecting to equipment that supports multi-gigabit or 40 Gbit/s links, verify that device ports and transceivers are compatible with Cat8.1 cabling and correctly configured.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances for copper multi-gigabit links, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and use proper cable management to prevent kinks and tight bends. Test installed links with appropriate certification or verification tools if operating at the upper end of the Cat8.1 performance range.
