Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41044-4 Cat8.1 rood 3 m F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41044-4 Cat8.1 Red 3m F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-performance wired connections where bandwidth, shielding and reliable connectors matter. This 3-metre cable uses the Cat8.1 standard with F/FTP shielding to support high data rates and reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold plating to maintain signal integrity and resist corrosion. Its red jacket provides easy identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The F/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external interference. Cat8.1 specification enables higher frequencies and improved throughput compared with lower-category cables, suitable for demanding network applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact, lower contact resistance and enhanced durability under repeated insertions. The 3 m length balances reach and neat cable management while the colored jacket helps rapid visual identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, servers and workstations
• Data center patching and short-run server interconnects
• Home or office networks requiring shielded cabling to reduce interference
• Audio/video streaming setups where stable wired throughput is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 metres
• Color: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, NIC or modem) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks or prolonged compression which can degrade performance. For installations near sources of strong electromagnetic noise, position the cable to minimise exposure to interference or use additional conduit as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links such as switch-to-switch or server connections. Avoid bending the cable beyond manufacturer-recommended bend radius and keep connectors free of dust. Verify port compatibility and link settings on network devices to take full advantage of the cable's capabilities.
