Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41061-2 Cat8.1 7.5m blauw F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41061-2 Cat8.1 7.5m Blue F/FTP networking cable is designed to support high-bandwidth data transmission for modern wired networks. Compliant with Cat8.1 performance parameters, this 7.5-metre cable uses F/FTP shielding and twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short to medium distances. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet devices.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides a high-performance wired connection with improved noise rejection due to F/FTP shielding. The cable’s construction supports high frequencies and stable throughput, making it suitable for demanding network tasks. A 7.5 m length offers flexibility in rack, desktop and home-office layouts, while RJ-45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility. The blue jacket simplifies cable identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in data centers and server rooms
• Workstation and desktop networking for professional or home offices
• Connecting network switches, routers and NAS devices
• Temporary or permanent cabling where higher frequency support is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance level
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue jacket for easy identification
• Use case: Designed for high-frequency, short-to-medium distance Ethernet links

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, network interface) and the other end to the corresponding port of the target device. Ensure both ports are rated for the intended network speed and that connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible to preserve signal quality. For rack installations, use cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium runs where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Verify that connected hardware (switches, NICs) supports the desired throughput and observe proper handling to avoid damage to the shielding and connectors.
