Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41065-2 Cat8.1 7,5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41065-2 Cat8.1 networking cable is a 7.5 meter Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It supports the Cat8.1 standard and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors, making the cable compatible with standard network ports in switches, routers, servers and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides high bandwidth and low latency appropriate for demanding network environments. Its F/FTP shielding offers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, and the 7.5 m length allows flexible placement of devices without intermediate repeaters. The use of standard RJ-45 terminations ensures broad compatibility with existing Ethernet infrastructure and simplifies installation.

Suitable for

• Data center backbone connections and short runs between racks
• High-performance home or office networks with intensive multimedia streaming and large file transfers
• Connection between servers, switches, patch panels and network appliances
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to reduce electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Frequency capability: up to 2000 MHz
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device such as a switch, router or server, and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured to maintain reliable continuity. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-power electrical cables to minimize interference. For fixed installations, use appropriate cable management tools like tray, ties or clips to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium runs where high bandwidth and shielding are required. Verify that connected equipment supports the desired speeds and that grounding practices for shielded cabling are observed in structured cabling installations.
