Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41066 wit 7,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41066 White 7.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. This cable supports Cat8.1 performance levels and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable provides stable plug-in connections and improved contact reliability. The white jacket and 7.5 meter length allow flexible routing and a discreet appearance in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding enhances signal integrity by combining overall foil shielding with individually shielded pairs, offering improved protection against external noise sources. The Cat8.1 grade supports high bandwidths suitable for modern networking needs while RJ-45 compatibility ensures straightforward integration with standard network equipment. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and maintain consistent electrical contact over repeated insertions. The 7.5m length balances reach and cable management for desks, patch panels, and equipment racks.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat8.1 performance within local networks
• Connections between switches, routers, patch panels, and networked devices
• Home office and small business wiring where interference reduction is important
• Audio-visual setups and streaming applications demanding stable, low-latency links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Jacket color: White

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring that bends are gradual and the minimum bend radius recommended for shielded twisted pair cables is respected. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports until the latch clicks. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality. For installations requiring multiple runs, label each end to simplify identification at patch panels and switch ports.

Recommendations

For best results in shielded installations, connect cable shields to grounded patch panels or grounded equipment enclosures to ensure the effectiveness of the F/FTP shielding. Use cable management accessories to prevent sharp bends and physical stress. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected equipment after installation to confirm Cat8.1 performance and stable operation.
