Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41075-2 10 m Cat8.1 F/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41075-2 10m Cat8.1 F/FTP Black networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. It conforms to Cat8.1 performance levels and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports demanding data transmission tasks over a 10 metre length while maintaining signal integrity.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification enables higher bandwidth and lower latency compared with lower category cables. F/FTP construction provides an overall foil shield plus individual foil shielding around each twisted pair, improving protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure plug-and-play installation and compatibility with standard network equipment. The 10 m length offers flexibility in device placement without reliance on wireless connections.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and servers in small office networks
• High-bandwidth home networking for media streaming, gaming and home offices
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 10 m run is appropriate
• Environments requiring improved EMI protection and consistent throughput

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil plus individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black
• Use: Ethernet data cabling for high-speed networks

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet ports of your network devices such as switches, routers, computers or network-attached storage. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; maintain reasonable separation from power lines where possible to further reduce interference. This cable is ready to use without additional termination or tools.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its intended 10 m run and pair it with network equipment that supports the required bandwidth. Avoid tight coils and extreme bending radii; secure the cable with cable ties or clips without compressing the jacket. When installing near power sources or heavy electrical equipment, maintain some distance to minimize potential EMI despite the cable’s shielding.
