Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41081 blauw 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41081 Blue 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed, low-latency Ethernet connections over a longer reach. Built to the Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding, this 15-metre cable supports multi-gigabit throughput and minimizes electromagnetic interference. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance, while the blue jacket offers clear visual identification in patch panels or structured cabling runs.

Advantages

Cat8.1 performance combined with F/FTP shielding delivers enhanced bandwidth and noise immunity suitable for environments with dense cabling or electronic equipment. The 15 m length provides extended reach without signal degradation for many home and small office setups. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and long-term reliability. The durable outer jacket resists everyday wear and helps maintain cable geometry for stable transmission.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers, and servers
• Home office and small business networking where longer cable runs are needed
• Patch panels, wall plates, and structured cabling installations
• Applications requiring reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, modem, or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks, or heavy compression near connectors and along runs; maintain reasonable separation from strong electromagnetic sources when possible. For fixed installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips, trays, or Velcro straps to prevent strain at termination points.

Recommendations

Use the cable for multi-gigabit links in demanding network setups and maintain minimum bend radius specified by Cat8 standards; avoid stapling or sharp bends that can impair performance. For long-term installations, periodically inspect connector integrity and jacket condition to ensure ongoing signal reliability.
