Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41083-4 Cat8.1 15 m groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41083-4 Cat8.1 15m Green networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for environments that require very high data throughput and low interference. Built to the Cat8.1 specification and using F/FTP shielding, this 15-metre cable supports high-frequency transmission and stable connections over longer runs. The cable is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with modern switches, routers and network interfaces, and its green jacket provides distinct visual identification in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding provides protection against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between pairs, improving signal integrity in crowded cabling environments. Conforming to Cat8.1 standards ensures the cable is capable of supporting multi-gigabit and near-future network speeds where shorter and medium-length high-frequency links are required. The 15 m length balances reach and performance for linking equipment within racks, server rooms or between workstations and network hardware. RJ-45 termination allows straightforward deployment without special adapters.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN links in server rooms and data centers
• Connections between switches, patch panels and network appliances
• Multi-gigabit workstations and high-performance desktop systems
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 8.1 (Cat8.1)
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 15 metres
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router, network interface) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched for a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radii consistent with professional cabling practice. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise and do not run it in parallel for long distances with power lines.

Recommendations

Use the Cat8.1 cable for short to medium runs where multi-gigabit throughput and shielding are required. Verify device port compatibility with Cat8.1 and RJ-45 connectors. In installations with mixed cable types, label the green cable for quick identification and test links after installation with appropriate network testers to confirm expected transmission performance.
