Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41083 groen 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41083 Green 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for environments that require very high data throughput and low interference. This 15-meter cable meets the Cat8.1 specification and uses F/FTP shielding (foil shield around each pair plus overall foil) to reduce crosstalk and protect signals from external electromagnetic interference. Molded RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance, while the green jacket makes cable identification and aesthetic integration straightforward.

Advantages

The cable's Cat8.1 rating supports higher frequencies and throughput compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for demanding networking tasks. F/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver reliable conductivity and reduced signal degradation over time. The 15 m length covers medium to long cable runs without the need for additional patching, and the distinctive green jacket simplifies organization in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, servers, and patch panels
• Data centers and server rooms requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Home offices and professional workstations needing stable wired Ethernet
• Audio/video streaming or large file transfers across local networks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall + foil per pair)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45, molded
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Outer jacket color: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee proper contact. Avoid sharp bends and kinks along the run; maintain a minimum bend radius consistent with high-performance Ethernet practice. When routing the cable near power lines or noisy equipment, keep some distance to minimize potential interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ShiverPeaks Cat8.1 cable in environments where high frequency and low-latency connections are required. Verify that connected network equipment supports the performance levels you expect; for long-term reliability, avoid excessive flexing or repeated unplugging of the RJ-45 connectors.
