Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41085-4 15 m Cat8.1 F/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41085-4 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP Black is a high-performance networking cable designed for demanding data transmission environments. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard and using F/FTP shielding, this cable provides elevated bandwidth and signal integrity for short-range, high-speed connections. It is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with copper to ensure reliable contact and reduced signal loss over the full 15-metre length.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding (foil around each twisted pair plus overall foil) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving stability in crowded cable installations. Compliance with the Cat8.1 specification supports higher frequency ranges and greater data throughput compared with lower-category cables. Copper-plated RJ-45 connectors offer solid conductivity and consistent performance for network devices that require dependable wired connections.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in server rooms and data centers within a 15 m run
• Backbone and switch-to-switch connections where reduced interference is important
• Workstation connections for large file transfers, video streaming, and low-latency applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil plus foil around each pair)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with copper plating
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the compatible network port on your switch, router, or network interface card and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking clip engages to maintain stable contact. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance. For installations in patch panels or keystone jacks, verify connector compatibility and maintain the specified maximum bend radius during routing.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-bandwidth links up to 15 m where low interference and reliable throughput are required. Avoid running the cable in direct parallel with large power cables and keep separation from heavy electrical equipment to preserve signal quality.
