Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41085 zwart 15 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41085 Black 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. This 15-metre cable complies with Cat8.1 performance parameters and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold, the cable offers stable data transmission and corrosion resistance while maintaining a slim, black jacket for discreet installation.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification supports very high bandwidths suitable for modern network equipment and demanding applications. F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil wrap with individually shielded twisted pairs to lower noise and preserve signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide improved contact reliability and reduced oxidation risk compared with unplated connectors. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without compromising backbone or endpoint connectivity.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN backbones and switch-to-switch connections
• Server room short runs and data center horizontal cabling
• Connecting gaming PCs, workstations, and media servers requiring low latency
• Home and small office networks where interference reduction is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router, network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the latch. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (large motors, unshielded power wiring) and avoid tight bends or kinks to preserve internal pair geometry. For best performance, verify network device settings and cable compatibility with the intended link speed.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium-length links up to 15 m where high-frequency performance and reduced crosstalk are required. When installing in patch panels or dense racks, maintain bend-radius guidelines and use secure strain relief to prevent connector stress.
