Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41086 wit 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41086 White 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in environments where bandwidth and signal integrity matter. This 15-metre cable complies with Cat8.1 specifications and uses F/FTP shielding to limit electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact and corrosion resistance, while the white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding around each pair and an overall foil layer help maintain stable performance over longer cable runs and in electrically noisy environments. Compliance with Cat8.1 standards supports higher frequency transmission, enabling greater throughput for demanding network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 terminations enhance connector longevity and reduce the risk of signal loss due to poor contact. The 15 m length covers typical room-to-closet and equipment-to-switch distances without the need for additional patching.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between switches, routers and servers in small offices and data closets
• Home networks requiring low-latency connections for gaming and streaming
• Wiring between networked AV equipment where reduced interference is important
• Temporary or permanent runs where a 15 m white cable is visually acceptable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance class
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil plus individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs (four pairs)
• Outer jacket colour: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure ports are compatible with the cable category and that connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy compression, and proximity to large power cables to preserve shielding effectiveness. If the installation is permanent, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories without excessive strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in environments where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances, and maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer’s minimum to prevent signal degradation.
