Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41153-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1,5m groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41153-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a 1.5 meter, shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern home and office networks. Constructed to Cat8.1 specifications with F/FTP shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high bandwidths. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance for sustained performance.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat8.1 performance with F/FTP shielding to deliver increased data throughput and low signal loss over short runs. Its gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure stable connections and longer contact life. The 1.5 m length offers a balance between flexibility and practical reach for desk-to-switch or equipment-to-router connections. Robust shielding and connector plating make the cable suitable for environments with potential interference and frequent plugging cycles.

Suitable for

• High-speed connections between PCs, servers, switches, and routers
• Home office setups requiring reliable wired networking
• Small office LANs and point-to-point short links
• Environments with nearby electrical equipment that may cause interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Green
• Use case: Horizontal patching and short link cabling

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 end to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure fit. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain gentle curves and adequate slack. When routing near power lines or strong sources of interference, orient cable runs to minimize parallel exposure and use available cable management to reduce stress on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-bandwidth links where low latency and minimal interference are important. For runs longer than a few meters, verify network hardware supports the desired speeds and consider appropriate structured cabling standards. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and replace the cable if connector damage or reduced performance is observed.
