Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41153 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1,5 m groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41153 RJ-45 Cat8.1 1.5m Green networking cable is a 1.5 metre patch cable engineered to meet Cat8.1 performance for high-speed wired connections. It uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, providing a stable data link for short-distance connections in home or office environments. The cable’s green jacket simplifies cable identification and routing in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

Cat8.1 specification support enables higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category copper ethernet cables. The F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus overall foil) helps limit external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, which is important in environments with multiple cables or near other electronic equipment. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices without the need for special ports. The 1.5 m length provides a balance between flexibility and minimal excess cabling for desk-level or patch-panel connections.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Short-range connections between switches, patch panels, and workstations.
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, large file transfers, and virtualized desktop access within a local network.
• Environments requiring reduced interference, including offices with dense cabling or near electronic equipment.
• Color-coded cabling schemes where visible cable identification is needed.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foiled pairs with overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 connectors to the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; route it along cable management paths or under desks to prevent stress on the connectors and maintain signal quality. For best performance, keep the cable length appropriate for the intended link distance and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical cables when possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 cable for short runs within racks, between patch panels and edge devices, or desk-level connections where higher bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the shielding or jacket is compromised.
