Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-44015 Cat8.1 F/FTP 0,5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-44015 Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a 0.5 m patch cable designed for short-range, high-speed Ethernet connections. It supports the Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors, making the cable compatible with modern network switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards in home and office environments.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides high-frequency performance suitable for demanding network tasks while its F/FTP (foil over each pair with an overall foil) construction minimizes noise from nearby cables and devices. The short 0.5 m length reduces signal loss over short runs and helps maintain organized cabling in dense setups. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black
• Application: Ethernet data transmission for high-frequency networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or network interface and the other plug to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked to establish a stable link. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy twisting of the cable and keep it separated from power lines and strong electromagnetic sources where possible.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for direct interconnections in rack-mounted equipment, between closely placed network devices, or to replace longer cables where minimizing latency and signal degradation is important. Keep cable runs short and neat to preserve shielding effectiveness and maintain optimal throughput.
