Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-44025 1 m Cat8.1 F/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-44025 1m Cat8.1 F/FTP Black networking cable is designed for high-speed, short-range data connections. It uses the Cat8.1 specification with foil over individual twisted pairs and an overall foil shield (F/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors, making the cable compatible with a wide range of network devices that support shielded Ethernet connections. The 1 metre length is suitable for tidy desktop, rack, or cabinet installations where minimal excess cable is desired.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 rating supports higher bandwidth and data rates compared with lower-category cables, while the F/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external noise in electrically noisy environments. The RJ-45 termination ensures broad compatibility, and the compact 1 m length helps maintain a neat layout in workstations or server racks. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends into most installations.

Suitable for

• Short-distance high-speed connections between switches, patch panels and servers
• Shielded Ethernet environments requiring reduced interference
• Desktop workstations or home office setups with limited cable runs
• Network cabinets and rack-mounted equipment where tidy cabling is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall + foil around each twisted pair)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Black
• Application: Ethernet networking up to Cat8.1 performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure that both connected devices and any intermediate hardware support shielded cable terminations and that chassis grounding is present where required to maintain shield effectiveness. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, shielded runs within racks or between adjacent network devices. Avoid repeated sharp bends and maintain proper grounding of connected equipment to ensure the shielding functions correctly.
