Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BS08-44035 2m Cat8.1 F/FTP RJ-45

The shiverpeaks BS08-44035 is a 2.0 m Cat 8.1 networking patch extension cable with RJ45 connectors, F/FTP (PIMF) shielding and LSZH jacket in black. Designed for high-frequency transmission up to 2000 MHz, it is suitable for backbone connections in data centres and for demanding multimedia setups that require low interference and high data throughput.

Advantages

This Cat 8.1 F/FTP extension cable provides high shielding performance to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The LSZH outer jacket reduces smoke and toxic emission in case of fire, and the RJ45 terminations enable easy integration with existing network ports. The 2.0 m length offers flexibility for rack and cabinet routing while maintaining Cat 8.1 performance up to 2000 MHz.

Suitable for

• Backbone and patching in data centres
• High-speed LAN connections and server racks
• Multimedia and enthusiast home networks
• Environments requiring LSZH cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat 8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (PIMF)
• Bandwidth: up to 2000 MHz
• Length: 2.0 m
• Connector: RJ45
• Jacket: LSZH
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the RJ45 connectors to compatible network ports on switches, patch panels or devices. Route the 2.0 m cable through racks or cable management systems to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured to maintain optimal signal integrity and Cat 8.1 performance.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 8.1 extension for short, high-performance links such as between patch panels and switches. Avoid sharp bends and exposure to mechanical abrasion; replace if connectors or jacket are damaged. For permanent installations in raised-floor data centres, follow local cabling and fire-safety regulations for LSZH cables.
