Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BS08-44045 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP zwart

The shiverpeaks BS08-44045 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP Black is a high-performance networking cable designed for demanding wired networks. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard and equipped with foil-shielded twisted pairs plus an overall foil shield (F/FTP), this cable minimises electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while delivering multi-gigabit data transfer over short to medium distances. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, providing compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards that support high-speed Ethernet connections.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification supports very high bandwidth and low latency for data-intensive tasks. The F/FTP shielding structure reduces external interference and preserves signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. With a 3 metre length and durable black outer jacket, the cable is suitable for structured cabling runs where flexibility and reliable connector performance are required.

Suitable for

• Multi-gigabit LAN connections between switches, routers and servers
• High-speed home networking for media streaming and gaming
• Patch panel and rack-mounted equipment in data closets
• Workstation connections requiring minimal interference and stable throughput

Key specifications

• Length: 3 metres
• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your networking device (switch, router or network card) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the peer device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to maintain a secure physical connection. Route the cable away from heavy power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality. For rack or patch panel installations, allow sufficient slack for movement and avoid tight bends that could damage the cable’s internal structure.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium distance runs within racks or between adjacent networking equipment. Avoid repeated sharp bends and excessive pulling force when installing. If longer runs are needed, evaluate overall network design and consider using infrastructure components certified for the required distances and bandwidth.
