Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-44155 1,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS08-44155 1.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP Black networking cable is built for high-speed wired connections between networking equipment. Complying with the Cat8.1 standard, the cable supports very high bandwidths and is intended for short-run, high-performance links. It uses an F/FTP shielding scheme to protect pairs from external electromagnetic interference and reduce crosstalk, and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification enables high data rates and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. F/FTP shielding—foil around each twisted pair plus an overall foil—provides robust protection against EMI in environments with multiple electronic devices. The 1.5 m length suits desk- and rack-level connections where a short, reliable link is required, while the RJ-45 terminations maintain compatibility with standard Ethernet ports. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into most installations.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, patch panels and servers in racks
• High-bandwidth desktop or workstation links
• Home or office networks requiring reduced interference and stable throughput
• Professional installations where Cat8.1 performance is desired for future-proofing

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil for each pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or network device and insert the other end into the target device’s Ethernet port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. For optimal performance maintain recommended bend radius and avoid sharp kinks; keep the cable away from high-power electrical cables and strong EMI sources where possible.

Recommendations

Use this 1.5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-performance links in racks, desktop setups, and professional environments. For installations requiring longer runs, select an appropriately rated cable length while maintaining proper shielding and connector quality to preserve signal integrity.
