Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-8103107 25m Cat7 S/FTP oranje

The ShiverPeaks BS08-8103107 25m Cat7 S/FTP Orange networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for data networks. Constructed to the Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding, this 25-metre cable supports high-frequency transmission and reduces crosstalk and external interference. Its bright orange jacket improves visibility and cable management in multi-cable environments, making it easier to identify runs in both residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

This cable combines the Cat7 standard with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to deliver improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. The 25 m length allows flexible placement of networked devices without relying on multiple patch cables or repeaters. The durable outer jacket and robust internal shielding increase resistance to physical wear and electromagnetic interference, contributing to stable data transfer and long service life.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, gaming, and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs in data closets, server rooms, and network panels
• Temporary or permanent installations where cable identification and organization are important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 25 metres
• Outer jacket color: Orange
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pairs
• Intended use: Ethernet and high-speed data networking

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the Ethernet port of your router, switch, modem or network interface and connect the other end to the target device such as a PC, NAS or networked printer. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends or kinks; maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended by general cabling practice to preserve signal performance. For permanent installations, route the cable along cable trays or conduits and secure it with appropriate fasteners, keeping power and high-interference sources separated where possible.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable with equipment that supports high-speed Ethernet standards and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the shielding or jacket is visibly compromised.
