Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS20-60065 zwart 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS20-60065 Black 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP is a high-performance network cable designed for stable, high-speed data transmission. This 7.5 metre Cat6a cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with copper-plated contacts to ensure reliable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for modern wired network environments that require Gigabit and 10 Gigabit performance over short to medium distances.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved signal integrity due to its combination of overall shielding and individually foiled pairs, which reduces crosstalk and external interference. The copper-plated RJ-45 contacts provide durable conductivity and consistent performance. At 7.5 metres length, the cable balances flexibility and reach for home offices, server racks, and audiovisual setups. The cable’s construction supports high data rates and stable latency for demanding applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed internet connections and home networks
• Wired office networks and workstations
• Connecting switches, routers and NAS devices
• Streaming, online gaming and video conferencing
• Cable runs between equipment in AV and server cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with copper-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Color: Black
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Intended use: Ethernet networking up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, NAS or PC) and the other end to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click into place. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the run clear of high-power electrical cables or strong EMI sources. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices if you do not immediately achieve the expected throughput.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gbit/s links, keep the cable length within standard Cat6a recommendations and avoid close parallel runs with mains wiring. Use proper cable management to prevent strain on connectors and maintain shielding integrity for best performance.
