Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75210-100SSP

The ShiverPeaks BS75210-100SSP is a 100 m Cat5e networking cable with F/UTP shielding designed for reliable Ethernet and data transmission in office, home and industrial environments. The cable’s twisted pair construction and overall foil (F/UTP) shield reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable performance for Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit Ethernet installations where Cat5e is appropriate. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance and durable handling during installation.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable offers consistent signal integrity over runs up to 100 metres, with F/UTP shielding that helps minimise external noise from nearby electrical equipment. The product combines flexible handling for installation with a robust outer jacket that resists mechanical wear. It is suitable for structured cabling, patch panels and direct device connections where Cat5e specifications meet network requirements.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN cabling for offices and homes
• Patch panel and switch connections in wiring closets
• Structured cabling in commercial or light industrial spaces
• Voice over IP and standard data applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 100 m
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Conductor type: twisted pair
• Jacket colour: grey
• Typical use: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, data and voice cabling

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable to length, allowing for service loops and termination points. Strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs without nicking conductors. Terminate the pairs to RJ45 connectors or punch down to patch panels and keystone jacks following T568A or T568B wiring standards as required by your installation. For longer permanent installations, route the cable through appropriate conduits or cable management systems and secure it with cable ties, avoiding tight bends and excessive tension.

Recommendations

Install the cable away from high-voltage power lines and large electric motors to reduce induced interference. For best performance, use Cat5e-rated connectors and test each run with a cable tester after termination to verify continuity, pair order and acceptable signal parameters.
