Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75500-100SP 100m Cat7 S/FTP oranje

The ShiverPeaks BS75500-100SP 100m Cat7 S/FTP Orange is a Category 7 network cable designed for high-speed wired data transmission in structured cabling environments. With S/FTP shielding and a 100-metre length, the cable supports demanding network layouts and long runs while remaining clearly visible thanks to its orange jacket. It is suitable for installations where signal integrity, reduced interference and bandwidth capacity are important.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Cat7 performance supports high bandwidths up to 600 MHz, enabling stable connections for Gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. The 100 m spool length provides flexibility for longer cable runs without splicing, and the orange outer jacket improves cable identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Home network backbones and long-distance runs
• Server rooms and data closets requiring high shielding
• Connections for high-bandwidth devices such as switches, routers and NAS

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 100 m
• Bandwidth: up to 600 MHz
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper (check installation requirements before termination)
• Outer jacket color: orange

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable from the spool, allowing extra length for routing and termination. Strip the outer jacket and prepare individual pairs according to the connector or keystone jack specifications you intend to use. Follow standard wiring schemes (e.g., T568A/T568B) and use compatible RJ45 connectors or shielded keystone jacks designed for Cat7 to maintain shielding continuity. Use proper cable management, strain relief and grounding practices for shielded installations.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain separation from high-voltage power lines, avoid tight bends and do not exceed recommended bend radius. Terminate with shielded connectors and ensure the cable shield is properly connected to ground when used in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
