Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25S-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25S-SET5 is a 0.25 m Cat7 networking cable engineered for short-range connections where high data throughput and signal integrity are required. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this black cable is designed to support high-speed internet and reliable data transfer in compact installations, patch panels, network switches, and desktop setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal clarity in environments with multiple cables or electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide low contact resistance and enhanced corrosion resistance for consistent connection quality. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable slack and clutter in dense rack or desk arrangements while maintaining Cat7 performance characteristics for modern network applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices across short distances (patch panels to switches, switch to desktop)
• Clean cable management in server racks, desks, and media cabinets
• High-speed LAN connections where interference protection is needed
• Home office and professional workstations with compact layouts

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7, suitable for high-speed Ethernet networks
• Length: 0.25 m (short patch cable)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Color: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring a secure click for reliable contact. Use this 0.25 m cable for direct short connections between adjacent equipment such as switches, patch panels, or network cards. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compressive strain; secure it with cable ties or management clips if necessary to maintain neat installations and prevent connector stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in mixed-cable environments where EMI or crosstalk may affect signal integrity. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines. Regularly inspect connector contacts and replace the cable if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
